What are these things called Libguides?

LibGuides are online research guides created by Charter College librarians for students and faculty.

Librarians compile subject-specific scholarly resources, database tutorials, search strategies, and citation help all in one location. LibGuides makes it simple to embed content into your guide in most any format, from web links and documents, to podcasts and RSS feeds. LibGuides can be course or assignment-specific.

Faculty are also invited to participate in the creation and editing process of their LibGuide by becoming a LibGuide "Collaborator." Becoming a Collaborator allows faculty to freely post additional course resources such as websites, books, or library databases within their guide.
