    The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO/OMT), a specialized agency of the United Nations, is the leading international organization in the field of tourism. Most of the information on the site deals with tourism policy issues including sustainable development and ethics. There aren’t many free reports and publications, but this is a useful site for researching the travel and tourism industry.
  • World Travel & Tourism Council
    This site deals with international travel and tourism. Information is provided for professionals, researchers and consumers. The site provides access to travel and tourism market research reports and lots of specific reports for various countries.
  • The International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education

  • American Hotel & Lodging Association - AH&LA
    The web site for AHLA, which represents the hotel and lodging industry. Some free content, some only available to members. For free content, there is information on government regulations relating to travel and lodging, events and conferences, a career center, diversity resources, industry history and news, and a list of the top 50 hotel companies.

    The American Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA) is the largest national membership organization representing the interests and needs of recreational therapists.

    The California Restaurant Association provides ultimate access to the resources and support restaurant professionals need to lead thriving businesses, while serving as conscientious, contributing members of an unparalleled industry.
